All requests go here

Be it pixel art, Photoshopped graphics, or music, all resource requests are to be made here.

Note that if you're looking for scripts, this is the wrong subforum. Go to Script Requests instead.

Making a Request Thread

Search first!
Before making a thread, always check around to see if your requested item has already been created. Do a forum search or look at the Helpful Resource/Tutorial Links posted in Pixel Analysis. If you still can't find what you're looking for, you may create a topic.

Follow the request template
You're given a template to use when you create a new topic. USE IT. When making a request, you must provide as much detail as possible. The less information you have, the less likely your request will be filled. Failure to follow these guidelines will result in a warn.

It is also recommended to look at the Templates and Examples sticky for more detailed guidelines and examples of good/bad requests.

Post multiple similar requests in one thread
Don't make 5 different topics to request 5 sprites. Multiple topics will be merged.

Do not bump until 72 hours (3 days) have passed
Failure to follow this rule can result in a warn.

Be realistic with your expectations
Spriting and composing is very time-consuming, even for talented artists/musicians. Don't request five different custom tilesets or 20 sprites and expect someone to fill it. If you have a particularly long request, try to offer something in return (e.g. creating a map for someone who helps you pixel a sprite). Also try and cut down on objects to request: instead of an entire forest tileset, for example, just ask for a few trees and bushes to add to the default RTP one.

When your request is resolved (NEW)
Make use of the Image topic icon when your request is filled. It will save others the trouble and time of checking a finished topic.

Taking on a Request

We urge our members to not fill requests that are utterly vague and lazily drawn up. Filling bad request threads encourages people to post more terrible constructed requests. Instead fill the good ones.

Request Station Threads

This is for artists/musicians who create threads to accept requests.

Set up rules!
You must set up ground rules for requests and work in their first post. Be sure to be clear and specific about how you want people to approach the thread and what kinds of things you are looking to do.

Provide examples!
You must provide examples of your work in the workshop thread, or it will be locked.

Follow rules!
For requesters:
Follow the thread rules. The artist/musician is in charge-- he/she will determine which requests to take or ignore. Do not request a song when the OP clearly states he/she will only make title screens.

The regular forum rules still apply for request stations.
