In May 2004 a website, RMXP.net, was created to accomodate the rising trend that was RPG Maker XP. The engine had not yet been released, but a group of friends got together to create what would eventually become the leading English RPG Maker website, and grew up to be the site we are today.

That was seven years ago, now we stand as HBGames.org, having seen so many amazing things in our past, and we still stand strong and proud. Our members are friendly, always up for a laugh, but our talent is clear and the games we produce as members are of a high quality and finesse.

RMXP.net fell in late 2005, to be replaced by what was it's backup site, RMXP.org, which in turn grew into HBGames.org following a rebranding in 2009. We are still largely the same site, and it's nice to see members of RMXP.net even returning today.

We don't have any specific celebrations planned but feel free to fill the Rec Room with your birthday praise (or old age rants).

And happy seven years, may we last for seven more (and may this horribly corny announcement end).

Embarassingly I realise it is not in fact May, but we missed it, so let's celebrate anyway!

Wow, six years I've been at some form of HBGames. SIX YEARS. I feel so damn old.

Well, I came to this forum in 2006 but that was just lurking, I tried joining in November 2006 but it kept giving me an error while trying to register, so I left it a while, and it was like a week into 2007 when I finally registered properly, lol.

So I've been here 5 years now... fuck, I was 14?!

And in 7 years I'll be 26... wow I'll feel so old and creepy talking to the little 13-14 year olds! D:

I joined back in 2005; I was bored, just got fired from GS. Needed something to do. Unfortunately, not long after I joined, .net finally up and croaked. Migrated over to .org when ccoa grabbed the reigns immediately after the first time it went down; I think it went down like... five, six times before people finally gave up on .net.

God, I used to be such a bitch. Why did you people never ban me? :|
