Troll cards can attack anyone.

Norm cards can only attack norm cards, unless they are in troll mode.

Lurker cards can only attack if they have already been attacked; but can attack anyone after.


Your deck has to contain:

5 Troll cards
5 Lurker cards
10 Norm cards
30 Action cards


Start the game

Each player has a deck of 50 cards and draws a starting hand of seven cards.

Your Turn

1. draw a card from your deck
2. play up to one [member] from your deck into play
3. play up to one action card

-- you can only have seven members in play at any one time


The winner is...

The winner is the first player to completely wipe out the opponent's forum (ban all 20 members).

Edit: I think that lurker cards should stay tapped until they are attacked, to indicate their current neutrality.

after the 8th (of aug) i could help make a card template in the file format you use

quite proud to say that I quite never fucking have. which, if it honestly takes more than 30 minutes to play one fucking round of troll, that's a bit too much.

I am using Firefox (.png) as that's all I know how to use (and they accept in 300 dpi PNG format).

The printing is apparently high quality BUT done using a laser printer which apparently limits the colour quality in the end -- but I know nothing about these things personally.

The outside border has to be white because the cards can chip, as my pokemon, digimon, and whateverelsemon cards have, and it just looks bad; and judging from the screenshots from the website these cards chip quite easily. But it's unnoticable and totally not a problem on white borders.



The blue outside border will be replaced with plain white to provide a safety zone for cutting - I kept it blue just to show where the actual card would fit.

With no extras (counters, markers, etc) the base cost would be $7.63 plus profit.

$7.86 if a pack of 70 counters are included.



They don't come in a very pretty box, that's the only real problem.

i thought you learned how to use photoshop?

it would be much easier for you to use a psd as a layered template with an interchangeable background and masks and vector text--

you could just enter in the text, slap down the picture under the mask, select what background you'd prefer out of the available layers, then export as a png

I learned photoshop for all of two weeks, only focusing on one tool and not learning it that well. :x

Plan to do two decks for the first release (hence the n/100 - 50 cards per deck)

We need some rules for repetition.

Perhaps if this gets "big" (i.e. someone actually buys this shit) we can do a 2-player starter set, which would need tweaked rules for 25 card decks and a good set of cards.

I would buy a set, even if I never played it. I'm a packrat that loves mementos and such.

Wyatt, why not make being a card member a sponsor incentive? Along with everyone else you were going to add, put "getting your face on HBG TCG" as a feature for donating :x
