This might be a lame idea, I wanna know your thoughts. But what if we had a t-shirt store?

HBGames wouldn't profit from it (other than a couple of our own t-shirts); really it wouldn't be a store but a collection of graphical links to other stores, only for members of HBGames who have their own games.

So let's say Volrath for example had a t-shirt for Master of the Wind, he could create it, sell it in his own way (say cafepress or something), give us a link and an image, and we'd stick it in the "store".

This would be a way of members getting a little cash for their projects, while giving something in return.

I'd personally definately buy shirts or other merchandise of the Glorious Works of Bacon and Dadevster.

We'd have to have some formal rules, like how active you have to be to be a "HBGames member" (to stop anyone signing up just to advertise their shirt).

I like the sound of this.

Personally, I would make it HBGames-donors only to give a higher incentive to donate to the site, but that's just how I do things.

When I get a project going I'll be linking back here a lot so a merchandise store would be nice for me too.

I like the idea for this as well. But it couldn't hurt to offer some HBG T-shirts too :P
(we've brought THAT up in staff so many times but never pulled it off though)

That reminds me about what I used to have in my signature, shirt-wise... anyone remember that? (though I doubt they'd sell particularily well in retrospect...)

But yeah, the general idea isn't bad, considering the low effort needed on .org's side if it's simply links. It'd be a good way to enhance the community aspect a bit more, and it definitely wouldn't hurt anyone!
