Event-Based Time System

Demo:
http://www.mediafire.com/?yvygcxbkrgd

Features:
-Changing Screen Tone (Day/Night)
-A switch that indicates when night occurs
-Lights for buildings, houses, etc.
-Customizable time interval

Description:
This system uses a set of three common events, variables, a switch, and modifications to transfer events to create a system that simulates day and night.  It is completely customizable because it is an event system and, from what I've seen, doesn't cause lag.  When you open the editor, be sure to look at every event, including the transfer events, because they are very important for the small stuff like removing the light graphic.  You can do most things with this system that you could do with a scripted version although it requires more work.  If there are any questions/comments, please post them and I'll answer as soon as possible.

Uses:
-Switch
To change from day to night for events like lights.
-Variables
These are used to record the current time.  Without them, the parallel event will start over each time you enter a new map.
-Transfer Events
If you're using the light graphic, you have to include the Erase Picture command(s) or you'll have random lights in the middle of the screen.

Notes:
I have tried making this system for XP, but I experienced trouble with the parallel event and it created a lot of lag.  Therefore, I do not intend to make this system for XP.

Is this for VX? If it's for XP, VX has lots of bugs with variables and stuff so it wouldn't work for that. Also, a screenshot from the demo might be cool (show same place in different times of day or stuff like that)

It works great with VX!! Also there is the variable fix anywho that fixes the variables! It works great with both, only without the fix the time goes by really fast and its night before you know it!!

Whoops, I forgot the variable fix script.  It isn't a major problem and it has little influence on the demo, though.  I intentionally made the transition quick so you didn't have to wait forever for the change, but you can change that to your liking.  Here's the link to the thread containing the variable fix: http://www.rmvx.org/forums/index.php?topic=43145.0  Also, I'll add screenshots.

Night should have more of a bluish purplish tinge, in my opinion.

I like that idea and it wont be that hard just change add the change screen color tone option in it :D. Also I can try to get this to work in XP if Guardian1239 is fine with it :D

If you want to try getting it to work in XP, I have no objections.  I tried it, but I ran into some problems.  Here's the demo for XP that I started: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jpm0mx3mf0d
