Sequel after sequel made upon a license you don't seem to understand.
You're really not that different from Square-Enix. :v

Also, for something constructive: Next time you make a game, avoid using anything made by someone else. It might just work out better.

Sorry, for not being constructive, it's just not the first time I ran into this guy. Here's what I posted on RPG Revolution:

Quote:
It's amazing that you've finished game, and you should be proud of that. Now you should focus more on learning how to make an even better game now that you've got that milestone out of the way.

And I still believe that. Looking back, my post in this thread is probably the opposite of what I wanted to get across, but it still stands that this thread will get a lot of views, comments, complaints, and in the end I'm not sure if anyone will benefit.

He just needs more practice and more focus. I don't think whether or not he calls it Final Fantasy or Ultimate Fiction matters.

I started playing Re: FFXP2.
Before I say anymore, I want to know if these are supposed to be serious games or is it more of a parody?

They appear to intentionally be something of a parody. I don't think you are supposed to take them too seriously.

It's kind of the case, i tried to make remake a bad game to make it a semi-good game, but it's not all super serious.
has anyone ever played Disgaea? The dialog in it isn't always serious, so thats what i tried to do.

Much better! It is a huge improvement. Work on maps like that and you'll be on the road to success.

The only thing I could point out is that it's not centered on the screen, as if something was supposed to be on the right side but isn't. Other than that, good 'nuff.

Yeah, in general it's good style to have the room centered on the screen (same amount of black space on each side). Other than that, this map is a great improvement. Keep mapping like this and you'll have yourself a very good-looking game.

Well, the games are pretty crappy. Thankfully, I believe the author stop producing these games. Or hopefully, he's been since improving his game making skills. :D

I think from the last three pages we've established that posts like this aren't great.

Comments are fine yes, but you've ignored everyone else and haven't even played the game.

It was actually getting somewhere!

I don't know if he stopped making them, but he put newer versions of both games here:
http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/fil ... antasy-xp/
http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/fil ... tasy-xp-2/

He also started remaking both games, here's their demos:
