• No Money System: Being the rich prat you are, matters of finance are of no importance to you. It's assumed that you have enough money to purchase whatever you want. That being the case, items can be in short supply and unlocking better ones may require trading or finding the proper materials to enable shopkeepers to develop them.
• Customization: Build Dakura's stats however you please. You're free to focus on any stat you want with him and freely select which abilities he learns.
• Equipment-based Skills: Learn new abilities by equipping different weapons and change your equipment in the midst of battle to alter your skillset on the fly.
• Reaction System: Determine how each party member reacts to attacks by setting them to guard, dodge, or counterattack.
• Personal Abilities: Each party member comes equipped with their own personal ability which is unique to them, such as enemy scan or item theft.

Vacant Sky lives on! I wonder how much of a connection there is with the previous games?

This is stunning. The artwork is beautiful. The maps looks great. The storyline seems top notch. Wow.

There were a few minor issues I discussed with you already, but I wanted to compliment you on your thread presentation. I think this is a great example of how to do a hype thread well. You have lots of flashy images to draw the eye, and you don't dump so much information that people don't want to read it. I think your plot description is somewhat vague, but it is a character story, and the character descriptions are much better. Nice job!

Thanks much for the kind words! A lot more time and research has been going into these maps than in the previous game's. To answer your question about its connection, Awakening is a prequel to Act I, taking place roughly 2000 years earlier.

I really like the Vacant Sky series, really. They're so well-made, and this is no exception.

Hey, Salerius, you went to WPI? It was one of my top choices in high school. I got accepted into Engineering at WPI but I decided to stay in my home country and study Medicine. I still wonder how things would have turned out otherwise.
