What is Fall of the Living?

Fall of the Living: First Outbreak is a survival horror action rpg made in RMXP that has been in production for quite some time now. Survive by any means possible. The zombies are just a start of the trouble, the real problem is what has happened to the last living souls. Or better yet what will they do to you.

This looks way better than your original zombie game and just as good as your GTA game.
EDIT: Co-op is a great idea. Will it be split screen or "P1 screen god"?

I was expecting people to bash on me because i started a new project.
Check out the videos if you can, I need some opinions on the early zombie animations, and hero animations :D

With this one, I don't really need help because I have everything planned.
But I am ALWAYS open to new gameplay ideas, and request for the game.
I will do all I can to make this game even more enjoyable for you all.
As for the shooting script, I'm sorry but I can't share at this time.
When the game is released, i will release the script.
I want to show you the kind of stuff this script can do.

Why not put some kind of Survival mode in?Where the enemies are unlimited and you have to survive for as long as you can while the enemies become stronger and fast ect.

Well there will be a battle mode with infinite zombies, called survival mode.

yes, mapping is creating maps, making certain graphics for that map,
adding effects to that map, BGS, and other things...well thats what I think of it as..lol.
And a MGS game?
I had one going waaaay back.

I'm not interested in being a fat part of your game's design, but here's an idea I've always wanted to see in a Zombie game, have the story lines super flexible around the allied heroes, so if they get killed in battle (Not in a cutscene or anything, in real game play) the entire story is thrown into a different direction.

What kind of graphics are you looking for?
Jungle, base, destroyed city?
or what?
when i get a chance i can maybe help out but I kinda have my hands full.

As for the idea Xilef, I had an idea like that too.
I was thinking also about having your own choice do do things your way, rather then just doing everything one way.

Ah, so if you have a mission where you have to take out a corrupt politician who went greedy for money you could do it with either a gun and silently snipe the guy or blow up the entire building in about 2 seconds but it attracts hordes of zombies to the area that hang around there for the rest of the game. Nice :thumb:
What's the gameplay time you're planning for this? It might take a while to make, especially in parralel to your gta game.

Gameplay time? what like release date?
Well I'm just working at it on my own pace because if I put a certain deadline itll add too much stress and I wont be able to fully polish the systems like i want to, and itll take away the fun in making it :]
well for me at least.
Lol and i'n my opinion this will be easier to do than my GTA game :D
And for the driving system and stuff, im taking it from my gta game, but adding stuff like the ability to shoot the machine gun in the back of the jeep and stuff.

Oh, not so sure yet really.
The gameplay script/ideas i wrote is pretty long so...id aim for at least 2 days to complete. I'd make it longer but I know if the gameplay size is too big would people still download it?

Hey, Battle world is 131 meg and i've had over 3 thousand downloads of my earlier releases.
Don't worry about file size, that can be compressed later, just think about making a solid game with a decent play time for me ;)

From watching those movies alone I must say you have some awesome skills. I am so jealous.
I think everyone should watch those vids before commenting on this game's ideas and such. A motion demonstration does really show off what it really is, and you say those systems aren't even finished? Wow.

Fucking awesome! What happened to the old zombie game? Whatever, this looks better. I don't know if you can still change it, but I think Rise of the Dead would sound a lot better than Rising of the Dead, or maybe even something completely different.

yeah the only reason my last projects wernt finished because my computer broke. but i saved this project on a disc everday when i do something on it.
right now im working on a blood system, and animations for when the zombie gets blasted from the shotgun
