I never understood the rationale behind asking for your money back. It's not the theatre's fault you decided to watch a crappy movie. :/

Yeah lol, it's not the cinemas fault you chose to watch a move you didn't like...

Actually I quite enjoyed the film, it wasn't amazing but meh.

It wasn't the movie; it was the theater's disregard of teenagers that wouldn't shut up.

Then again, I suppose if one of your group complained to an employee during the movie it might have been handled.

I just finished watching limitless. Highly recommend it, a great movie. A tad predictable at times, and very arty-farty but hey some of the effects were pretty cool.

I saw Rise of the Apes.

It was actually really good. I feel as if I should actually pay for it now. It hit the happy medium between making the script too simplistic in order to appeal to everyone and making the script "intelligent" to the point where it becomes convoluted.

It was about as "prequel" as a movie can get. The movie cuts off before humans really start dying from the virus and well before the apes actually take over. It set the ground work for the next films and it did it well.

Going to see it in like, 10 minutes. Better be good :O

(Although I didn't see the first one. We went, but the cinema turned me away because I looked under 15 :< (and was))

The last film I saw was Captain America, I saw it last Tuesday, it was really great, except the pacing was off by a lot, they spent so much time with his backstory, then when he finally became Captain America... well, it was over really soon. Then again, isn't that what happens with EVERY Marvel film? Especially if it's the first of the franchise too, lol.

My girlfriend wants to see Rise of the Apes (Fuck calling it it's real name that's just dumb), and she also wants to see Smurfs (So do I actually... Neil Patrick Harris is in it!), so I think we'll be going to see both films sometime... probably in the next two weeks or something, we'll see how it goes.

The rise of the planet of the apes

I actually didn't want to go to the movie, but wow.. Best of 2011 for sure!
The lack of action for the increase of character development (mainly for Ceasar) was great!

No, tea isn't dinner, it's a meal you have in the evening... in my house we have breakfast (Between 9-12am) dinner (Between 12-4pm) and tea (6pm and afterwards), lol.

Anyway let's talk about films...

Oh I've seen that one.

By first one I assumed this was a prequel to the latest pota movie (2001). Is it not?

The last film I saw was Twilight. Yeah really. I'll write a review later if I can be arsed, but I'll just say this: I sat through it from start to finish at least.

I saw Rise of the Apes today (Like I said, I'm not naming it fully, lol...)

...

Wow.

This is one of the best films I've seen in a very long time, it had some really emotional moments, the CGI apes looked amazing, and the story was just amazing!

People should really see this film!
