Invasion of the Body Snatchers (the original). Good movie but didn't really have an ending (but I guess that was the point).

SkyLine. I gave this movie a 2nd go and it still sucked. A lot of action and a nuke, but that's it. (I'm waiting on Skyline 2 LOL)

I just watched Walking Tall yesterday.

It was what you'd expect out of most movies starring the Rock. Typical cliche bad assery with non stop action (not in the good way). I didn't hate it, however, I wouldn't watch it again unless I was in an ass kicking mood.

I saw Taken again

Liam Neeson = badass. The part where he asks the kidnapper if he remembers his voice gives me the chills.

Just rewatched Grizzly Man. I've always found this movie hilarious. I mean it's sad and all that Treadwell died but fuck, the way he goes about it just makes him look like a crazy person in the woods. Which I guess is fucking hilarious to me.

I can see why people wouldn't like it. The movie moves pretty slow. Outside of the troll hunter, the characters were all one dimensional. Also, it was a mockumentary.

The scenes with the huge troll made everything worth while, though. At least for me :0

I'm about to watch Brick.

I've seen it once before about, 2 years ago or so and loved it. Most of my story lines are inspired by movies, so maybe it will help me form a concept that I can visit later on.

The movie is basically about a teenager who finds his ex-girlfriend who has been associating herself with a drug lord dead in a sewer, and is trying to find out who's responsible for it. It sounds like the typical Steven Segal movie, however, it's much better (and doesn't star him either :3).

no country for old men.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFF SO GOOD.

it's basically a horror movie, except there are no vampires, or boogeymen, or ghosts, or demons. there is only a stark naked humanity that confronts us like very few other movies can. anton chigurgh is one of the best bad guys of all time.

Anyone who doesn't cry during that movie has not realized how much their fathers mean to them, and how devastated they'll be when they lose them.

I watched Memento for the first time the other night.

OH GOD IT'S SO FREAKING GOOD.

An unbelievable piece of cinema. I knew Nolan was a stunning director but Memento completely blows Inception and The Prestige out of the water, despite being incredible films in and of themselves.

The more I think about the structure of Memento in my head, the more I sit in awe that somebody was able to put this all together and create a coherent film. The idea of telling a film backwards seems barbaric, but Memento handles it with such GRACE osmdfiuahsdouflaysdhfiya

easily one of my favourite films of all time.

That kind of reminds me of that movie the Tree of Life, however, it tells a story in separate segments. It's basically a movie that is showing a guy thinking about his childhood, and the scenes are constantly switching because every memory he has sparks a new one.

It bothered me, however, I'll try that movie out.

The Mechanic is decent, as is Priest. Both are really good, and I would suggest them for viewing =]

I liked The Mechanic :o: It wasn't amazing, but it was a standard movie that I would consider watchable. As far as Jason Statham goes, I would say it is one of his better outings.

Now Priest :D:

Aside from the ending, it was kind of shit. They didn't even bother attempting to follow the comic storyline. Priest never seemed that popular of an IP to begin with, so I don't understand why they even bothered trying to cash in on it. They could have named the movie just about anything else and probably could have pulled the same numbers.

I still can't tell if Paul Bettany is an amazing actor, or if everyone else is just so overbearingly bad that he seems amazing.

I liked The Mechanic too, mainly because I like anything with Jason Statham in it, lol, and the story was pretty too in my opinion.

^^^

I had a headache all the way through, didn't follow it at all, and only understood the plot once the movie ended.
