I am looking for a really basic ABS system, nothing flashy*cough*XAS*cough*.
Something that simply supports long range weapons and maybe some melee and bombs.
I think the zelda starter kit would be perfect, but I cant seam to find it anywhere.
So if anyone could suggest a fairly simple ABS that doesn't take to much to set up, that would be great. Better yet if you can upload the zelda starter kit.

Needed for XP by the way.

I've got what you need. The XAS.

This site has information, download links, and everything you need to learn how to use. Although I hate ATBs myself, this guy did an awesome job.

I used Mr. Mo's SABS for a while and thought it was pretty easy to set up.
Not sure if it's what you're looking for but here's the link anyway:

I will Give MRMo's and the RTH a shot.
XAS...No...

Still, if anyone can dig up the zleda ABS, that would be ideal.

The big Project Zelda Engine (with the ABS) is at RRR http://www.rpgrevolution.com/forums/ind ... opic=47454

I'd be surprised if someone hasn't pulled the ABS out as a standalone. Have a look...

Dude...That looks pretty banging. With that I may even be able to skip a few other scripts I needed. Thanx. ^^

Theres Blizz-ABS by Blizzard. And it comes with its own configuration program.
http://forum.chaos-project.com/index.ph ... 106.0.html

Pretty simple and basic. While it supports flashy animations and all that stuff, its also just basic bare bones if you want it to be. Its basically plug n' play. Once you insert the script you just set a couple of events to enemies and wa-la. The only complain you'll have is the controls, but they're customizable with the config app.

I second G_G here. BABS is by far the best ABS I have used for RMXP. It's actually one of the things that got me interested in making the games I've done in RMXP... The standard battle system did nothing to impress me, was about to give up, and BABS struck some new interest. The only thing that bugged me about it was forcing some of the other scripts I used to work with it. It's just a matter of editing things though lol
