I've got one in my cart on Amazon along with a 16GB memory card, and I've gone to the checkout, but backed out from clicking the final button 3 times now... I REALLY want one, but I don't know if I want one yet, but I just have the feeling that I need it RIGHT NOW...

If I do get one soon, I've decided that I'm going to buy Escape Plan and Motorstorm RC off PSN instead of Army Corps of Hell, I mean, the gameplay looks pretty cool (Like Picmin and Overlord had a baby... and that baby listened to death metal or something, lol), but the reviews are saying it's pretty bad and VERY repetitive, not sure if I want it just yet then... and I'm also going to buy Half Minute Hero off PSN (I was gonna' buy it to put on PSP anyway, but if I'm getting a Vita soon, might as well put it on that instead), and will put Final Fantasy VII and IX on too (The only two I own on PSN, got I, II and IV on UMD... meh.)

Basically, does anyone have anything to say to talk me into our out of getting one? I don't want to buy one, play it for a few weeks, then get bored, I regret doing that with my 3DS, and I doubt I'll get it back out unless some amazing games come out that I really MUST HAVE (And there aren't too many actually, but maybe in the future).

Bah. Pita. Personally I don't want one because it doesn't support the UMD games I already own. And I'm not really into PSN downloads. For my money I'd like a physical copy to own, rather than "licensing the rights to use a digital copy". I'll save that nonsense for my $.99 iphone apps. Although I realize not everyone is the game hoarder I am.

But lets pretend I was interested in a Pita, cause my original PSP does have a crack, dead pixels and a wonky thumb stick. I find it better to wait a year or two after a console's release. Not only can they sort out some of the initial hardware issues (360 I'm looking at you) but also launch releases are always lackluster compared to later releases, and I can snag really great older games for cheaper than original MSRB. But then I'm also cheap. :P

Shit if you already have an original PSP, what I'd do is take the money I was going to spend on the new system and just pick up some games instead.

Fun story. Vita dont play PS1 games yet :p anyways The vita is fuckin amazing! but really you be better off waiting? or maybe at least go to a store and try it out first? I love my vita too death and fuck i already own 4 vita games and two vita psn games... more then my 3ds already. ALSO that army corps game will go down in price fast. BTW if you get a vita get wipeout and uncharted.

Try it out in a store first if you're not sure. I know most Targets have displays up.

My only complaint about the system is that it seems pretty slow loading, although that might have just been the gravity game I was demoing. Either way, I'm waiting too, at least until P4: The Golden comes out in this country.

I've played around 45 minutes on the demo stations in total in various GAME stores lol (Actually the same two but on separate occasions, lol) and I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure if I want one JUST YET y'know? I don't want to be like those 3DS owners that got shafted price wise by buying it straight away, lol.

And I've already decided which games I'll be buying first if I get one pretty soon, I'll be buying Motorstorm RC, Super Stardust Delta and Escape Plan, all off PSN ofcourse (Since they're all PSN titles... but they're actually priced really well), and I MIGHT get Ridge Racer just to say I own it, since I have every other Ridge Racer near enough, lol... and think I'd try Army Corps Of Hell since it's only £15 from Zavvi, cheaper than Ridge Racer, lol

It supports PS1 games through Remote Play for the moment. That's good enough for me.

I totally recommend picking up Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and Super Stardust Delta! There's also a super version of Stardust that comes bundled with the first DLC that's worth the buy if you like the series.

Well la-de-dah, it was £4.80 which is cheap as chips... literally, and the DLC is pretty great, 24 cars for 80p... (That's £0.80) so it doesn't really bother me, lol
