okay so i romanced thane in ME2 because I figured he'd have some badass "go down in a blaze of glory" moment in ME3 and it'd be all cool and shit. Also sunglasses.

Should have romanced Garrus I guess!

Miranda can survive but it doesn't matter because the talented staff of Bioware botched the ending in ways that are unimaginable considering that is the company's so called strength. It is easily the most hare brained and unsatisfying conclusion i've ever seen from a big budget series.

Doesn't help that Bioware's response is "But why you mad? :<"

I'm currently playing many games like Mario Kart 7, Skyrim, GTA v, Halo 3 and many more. For playing Halo 3 game you must have xbox 360. If you have it than it's best game to play. I love this game since it released. It's very enjoying and fun giving game.

I've been playing Dragon Age 2 (still have to wait a week for ME3 :|: ).

I wonder why I didn't notice it in my first playtrough but, Anders is one fucking awesome character.

Either way, I'm going to mop up that final trophy for the platinum (side 5 times with the Templars, eugh those are some lame decisions you need to make for that).

Ok what

I just finished ME3, I didin't like my ending so I decided to google how many possibilities there are.
Apparently there are about 16 different endings, but the shitty part is that they depend on your multiplayer experience... :l
It depends on the "Galactic Readiness" rating in Single Player, but to get that up you'll have to play multiplayer matches, wtf?

So they pretty much made playing multiplayer a requirement in order to get the "best" endings, which is incredibly lame, I didin't buy this game for multiplayer god dammit!

Also, why the fuck did my entire team bail on me after ME2, I didin't save all their asses from the collectors base so they can leave me by myself

T H A N K Y O U .

It makes >>>NO SENSE<<< why you would be forced to play multiplayer in order to affect singleplayer endings.

SO FRUSTRATING

Also, on the topic of the multiplayer issue, I read this yesterday:

Quote:
"You do NOT have to play multiplayer to get the best single-player endings," the official statement on the BioWare forums notes.

"Effective Military Strength" is the statistic that determines a player's success during Mass Effect 3's end-game. Collecting "War Assets" during the single-player campaign boosts this rating. Furthermore, there are more assets that can be collected than are necessary, but a certain threshold must be reached to get the "best" ending.

"Galactic Readiness," on the other hand, isn't even impacted by the single-player campaign at all, but increasing the stat by playing multiplayer (or Infiltrator) will reduce the number of War Assets one needs to collect in the single-player campaign to be successful.

"If you play a lot of multiplayer, you will need less War Assets from single-player to fill up your [Effective Military Strength] bar (i.e. it will balance out the requirements to account for you playing in both modes)," senior marketing manager Jarrett Lee states.

In summary, "Effective Military Strength" is the stat that determines Mass Effect 3's end-game proceedings, and it's a stat that "can be maximized via collecting War Assets alone, even if your Galactic Readiness is 50%."

Hmm... I can get Dragon Age II for £8 (€9/$12), I own Origins and thought it was pretty decent but nothing amazing, and when I played the demo for Dragon Age II ages ago, even though I like the fact it's more action based than Origins, I didn't like that it felt too... empty, and apparently all the evironments are recycled over and over, and there's a lack of variety in just about everything that isn't the player... then again it's really cheap so I may buy it just to say I have it, even if I never end up playing it... what do you guys think?

Yeah. Massive disappointment. Pretty obvious that EA had their noose around BioWare's neck about time constraints. The recycling of the environments was my biggest annoyance but the whole thing was a testament to EA's influence on a once-amazing company :(

It was fun for the first chapter, b/c everything was still fresh. but after chapter 1, you're still in the same city, you still visit all the same like 10 maps over and over again, and only a couple of the characters are interesting at all. bummer.

i never even formally beat it. i got to like the very last hour of gameplay, and lost all interest. i beat the arashok, and then just sort of felt like that was the best thing the game had left to offer (and according to other people who played it, i was right).

Yup, DA2 wasn't nearly as good as Origins, but I still enjoyed it, the combat system is a lot more interesting than before.
I'd say go for it if it's that cheap, it's an enjoyable game, just nothing amazing.

The worst part about DA is that EVERYTHING is the same. You have like a single city, 2-3 dungeons and 2-3 places you can visit that are constantly re-used during the game (only thing that changes are which passages are miraculously blocked and which are not).

While I did enjoy the game (not nearly as much as origins) I wouldn't recommend it if you weren't a fan of the first one. DA has some kick-ass party members though, Anders and Varric are some of the most interesting characters in my recent memory.
