Control
+ Using WASD to move.
+ Each map you can chose 3 Gun.Use it by press J, K, L. In this version I already give you 3 type.
+ Build tower : O
+ Put bomb: P
+ Buy bullet : 1, 2, 3
+ Buy Tower,Bomb: 4, 5
+ Press Space to start new level in map.

Gameplay
-Enemy will spawn each level. You can use gold to buy tower ( auto fire Mantis ) ,special bullet ( high cost but powerful ) and which you think is better. You can have gold when hit or destroy enemy.
-Because I reach maximum event of C2, so we have only one map with 3 level .

-Graphic: spriters-resource.com,war3k.com, space sprite pack of C2, some space ships of my friend. I re color and edit something.
-Event: 91 events
-Plugin: Playtomic, work well when test in locallhost but when I deploy on dropbox , saveLeaderboard not work .

20/3/2012:
+ Add effect when player or enemy die or be hit.
+ Buy one more gun by using gold .
+ Using movement WASD + J to shoot ( hard than mouse, but i like it :heart:

) .

Hi all, I comeback with new version 1.0.0. I decided to make a defence replace for old shooter game. Player will protect the main base from enemy. In this demo, I show 3 level for you , try to detroy all enemy.

Control:
-Shoot: J
-Move: AWSD
-Auto Fire: On(K), Off(L) .

to start, don't try 3 level at one time.

Add 2 new feature:
+ LeaderBoards : to save your score and name .
+ Build Tower auto fire enemy
+ Using total 70 event .
OMG, only 2 day remain ...

Hey vrety this is a great start but you have a huge problem that needs fixing. If I sit at the start and just shoot my bullets can destroy all the enemies off screen and I can essentially beat the level without giving any enemies the opportunity to engage me. You need the players bullets to dispose once they leave the other side to prevent this.

Update new feature in demo 29/3 .
+ Complete Screen, tower.
+ Complete leaderboard .
+ Fix bug bullet don't auto detroy.

Awww,

It's too late to fix any bugs about this now, but it looks like the leaderboard isn't working. Otherwise, my score'd be up there! :(

Nice job vrety :) Iv played your game quite a few times now, I really like how you incorporated a space shooter, and tower of defense style game play. This game is really a lot of fun! I also am getting the leaderboard bug, I didn't do as well as Venetia though. lol I hope you continue to develop this game after the contest is over because I would play it all the time.

I liked that style!

I think this game is quite promising if you finished this game, i couldn't understand how to add ammo because i was running out of ammo and i died, lol.

You can press number 1-5 to buy ammo, tower, bomb....

All function view, play, load score is working except save leaderboard . I want to write javascript with playtomic but don't have time so I use plugin, it save my score when I test game on localhost but in dropbox it didn't :ouch:

Of course I will continue develop this game with more map, more challenge, more type of tower,ammo and mission. It may be a longtime, but I will complete it ASAP .

I found that the bug that make my saveleaderboards don't work is dropbox, it don't accept post request. If anybody want to add leaderboards, don't use dropbox like me :cry:
